Green Zones
Green zones are those areas of the public road where vehicles with a resident sticker and, when so determined, non-residents can park for the predetermined time in each case. In this way, residents can park for free (with the obligation to obtain a zero-cost ticket with a maximum time of 72 hours) and vehicles without a sticker can do so by paying the established fee, with a maximum time limit of 2 hours.
Residents
The condition of being a resident, for the purposes of using green zones, is established by:
a) Individuals registered in Tossa and who are owners of a vehicle that pays the IVTM Tax in Tossa.
b) Individuals registered in Tossa and who are regular drivers of a vehicle with a rental, leasing, or similar contract, lasting more than 6 months.
c) Individuals not registered in Tossa who pay property tax (IBI) on a house in Tossa.
d) Individuals who own a business with a domicile or headquarters in Tossa, or have a work contract with a company with a domicile or headquarters in Tossa lasting more than 4 months.
e) Legal entities with vehicles in their name that pay the IVTM Tax in the municipality.
f) Legal entities with a domicile or headquarters established in the municipality that have rental, leasing, or similar vehicles for more than 6 months.
Sticker
The sticker that certifies the condition of a resident, after its application and verification of the aforementioned conditions, must be activated by paying the established fee for this purpose (subject to the final approval of the corresponding Fiscal Ordinance) and which are as follows:
a) Individuals registered in Tossa and who are owners of a vehicle that pays the IVTM Tax in Tossa. €5.00
b) Individuals registered in Tossa and who are regular drivers of a vehicle with a rental, leasing, or similar contract, lasting more than 6 months. €30.00
c) Individuals not registered in Tossa who pay property tax (IBI) on a house in Tossa. €60.00
d) Individuals who own a business with a domicile or headquarters in Tossa, or have a work contract with a company with a domicile or headquarters in Tossa lasting more than 4 months. €60.00
e) Legal entities with vehicles in their name that pay the IVTM Tax in the municipality. €30.00
f) Legal entities with a domicile or headquarters established in the municipality that have rental, leasing, or similar vehicles for more than 6 months. €60.00
*In the case of points (e) and (f), a maximum of 3 vehicles per legal entity is allowed.
Once activated, it must be attached to the lower right part of the vehicle's windshield. The effect of this sticker will always be conditioned on compliance with the resident conditions and being up to date with economic obligations (taxes, fines, and public prices) with the Tossa de Mar Town Hall.
The resident sticker can be applied for at the OAC, the Citizen Attention Office, or electronically.
Name of the procedure: "Request for the Green Parking Card for Residents in Limited Parking Zones (green zone)" or by typing "green zone" in the "search procedures" field.
Necessary Documentation
To carry out this procedure, it is necessary to be up to date with payments. It is no longer mandatory to provide the certificate issued by XALOC.
In the case of being the regular driver of a vehicle with a rental, leasing, or similar contract, the rental contract and the vehicle's technical sheet must be provided.
Regular drivers of vans or mixed vans must present the vehicle's technical sheet.
Important Note
Once the request for the green zone sticker has been made, it must be activated by paying the established fee (pending final approval of the corresponding Fiscal Ordinance).
The payment of the fee will be made in person at the Citizen Attention Offices of the Tossa de Mar Town Hall (Avinguda Pelegrí, 25), after notification of compliance with the requirements to be the holder of the sticker, during the last week of May.
At the same time as the fee is paid, the sticker will be delivered and will be valid, allowing parking in the green zone.*

Operation
From June 1 to October 15 of each year, the maximum allowed parking time will be duly indicated on the parking meters or corresponding signage and will differ depending on whether the vehicle has a resident sticker or not.
All vehicles must obtain a parking ticket through the installed parking meters or electronically. In the case of residents, this ticket will be free and valid for 72 hours, after which it will be necessary to renew it.
In the case of green zones with a payment option for non-residents, the proof that allows their use will be a payment receipt ticket unless the payment was made through an electronic means. The payment schedule in this case will be from 10 am to 9 pm.
Non-Exclusive Green Zones
From June 1 to October 15 of each year, the green parking zones on Nostra Senyora de Montserrat, Escultor Casanovas, Pintor R Benet, Bernats, Tomas Barber, Sant Vicenç, Giverola, Maria Auxiliadora, Sant Sebastià, Pompeu Fabra, Escultor Mares, Torrent Viver, Pintor Creixams, Francesc de P Rissech, Rambla Pau Casals, Lope Mateo, Vilafranca del Penedès, Calafat, Gabriela Mistral, Joan Brossa, Capità Mestres, and Victor Català streets will be regulated, so that residents can park for free (with the obligation to obtain a zero-cost ticket with a maximum time of 72 hours) and vehicles without a sticker can do so by paying the established fee (with a maximum time limit of 2 hours).
There are a total of 369 non-exclusive green zone spaces.
Exclusive Green Zones
The Tossa de Mar Town Hall has enabled green zone parking spaces in the Old Town, specifically in the spaces on Joan Barber Coris, Sot de ses Pomeres, and s’Aloc streets.
These spaces are exclusive for residents; only vehicles with an activated resident sticker can park. The maximum parking time is 72 hours.
There are a total of 34 exclusive green zone spaces.
